Next up: Mother’s Day!

I’ve got my card made early enough this year to get it in the mail so it actually arrives BEFORE Mother’s Day.  My mom will about lose her teeth when she sees!

I’m going to be posting soon about my new passion for watercoloring.  There are a few different ways to accomplish that simple and beautiful look, but I really like the cheapie watercolor paint sets you can buy at the Dollar store!

This card uses a sample of water coloring that I made while playing around with water and paint.  It’s fast, easy and really pretty.  In my humble opinion… *wink.

I die cut the word Mom from a piece of white card stock, added the sentiment and gold embossed.  Cuz I’m also ALL about the gold these days!!

Then I popped the card stock up above the water colored paper and card base, added some candy dots and I’m calling it done!

Thanks for stopping by today!  I hope you’re having a lovely Sunday.

  • Beautiful card Norine. I love the watercolour background behind the cut out!  As usual an awesome inspiration for us non card makers!

  • Thank you everyone!  Inside of the card is clean and simple…(my term for “unfinished”).  Lori A, I’m thinking about classes for this summer, and I could definitely make watercoloring one of them.  It’s not at all hard to do!
