I brought a few things home with me yesterday after work … it’s my turn for a blog post today, and I haven’t scrapped in a long time. It seems that life has just got stressful and overwhelming so I was glad it was my turn for a blog post. I really needed a day to escape and just enjoy some time at my creative desk.
I brought home a District Market 12×12 burlap panel
I actually bought the Echo Park Reflections Paper Collection Pack
but in this blog post I will show you the 3 individual 12X12 papers I used.
This sheet of Echo Park Reflections 12×12 paper
This is what I created … in a very short amount of time.
You are right, I covered up that District Market canvas with that piece of paper … sorry Tim … but I wanted a burlap canvas … the combination of the paper and burlap was perfect. Quick, easy … voila … one project done. I love it.
I also brought home some other goodies as follows:
My project …. please right click any image and click view image to see larger photos.
I started this about 1pm this afternoon, and I was done before 5, clean up and all … both of my projects.
I inked the all of the edges of the papers with Vintage Photo Distress ink. And, you are right, I did cover another set of District Market burlap canvases again … I love the burlap edge.
I absolutely love the look of the Blue Fern Studios chipboard just left raw.
The fourth canvas … Let all that You do be Done with Love … that is the cover of the large file folder in the Teresa Collins Memorabilia file folder set.
I had so much fun making this, I have tons of leftovers that I am looking forward to playing with. These two collections – Echo Park Reflections and Terea Collins Memorabilia – they go together perfectly.
