Halloween is coming and I have a spooky treat for you today, and that’s no trick!
I can’t remember the last time I created a Halloween project, but I was inspired seeing lots of others making things that I decided to dig through my stash and see what I could find!
I found some Tim Holtz dies that I had forgotten about as I was exploring my stash looking for items to use. The graveyard edge die and spiderweb are too fun not to use….can I use them on other projects I wonder.
Covered the shadow box with black gesso to start then treated the outside edges to some web like ‘ribbon’ that makes for amazing texture. Now that I’ve used on non-halloween projects before!
To really bring out the texture I dry brushed some Finnabair Was in copper over top. I have to say these waxes are DREAMY! Lori has a hard time keeping them in stock!
I filled the inside with this fun little skeleton and other spooky items. The mini lights are just fantastic!
To top it off I added these fun mini bottles filled with some micro beads, some more bones & gravestones to finish it off!
I can’t wait to get out more of my Halloween decorations to go with this spooky little box!
Hope you find some treats of your own….and maybe a few tricks!
Great Job Lisa!
You are so talented 🙂
This is so awesome !!! I love all the little things you added to the Halloween box !!!
