Hi, hello! Happy Wednesday!
I’m back today with a layout to share with you, that I made using some handmade embellishments! I actually presented a class on handmade embellishments last year, so you know it’s a thing I love.
Another thing I love is Peel Off stickers. I’ve mostly only ever used them on cards, but today I thought I’d color some up, cut them out and use them as embellishments on a layout.
Here’s where I started. I peeled off the stickers and laid them onto Bristol Smooth cardstock because I planned to use my real brush markers and that paper allows the color to blend before it soaks into the paper.
Then I cut the leaves out with my fine tipped scissors.
(Because of the difficulty of cutting all the white bits out of that bottom leaf spray, it will likely get used somewhere else, on a background of matching white cardstock where the white doesn’t show up so much.)
Oop! There’s that precious boy again! Look at that dolly baby!!
Lets focus on the colored leaf embellishments, shall we? That’s what we’re here for.
I’ve been hoarding those gold word stickers from Crate Paper, doling them out to myself one at a time. Today “fun” got pulled off the sticker sheet and used! They’re so pretty though, they can’t just be used on any old page!
Some of the other supplies I used are:
Patterned papers from Webster’s Pages (blue), BoBunny (green), gold polka-dot vellum (maybe Lori remembers?)
Elizabeth Craft Peel Offs
Word stickers from Cosmo Cricket, Authentique, Echo Park (this moment, fave photo)
Chipboard alphabet stickers – Thickers, Elf
gold word and heart stickers – Crate Paper, Oasis
phrase stickers – Teresa Collins, Crate Paper, Basic Grey
Chipboard “Discover” label – Crate Paper
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
Your grandson is so cute! You put so much work into all the details and make it look effortless. Beautiful LO.
