I hope you’re all doing well! Please excuse my insanely creative title…hopefully my creativity will be rejuvenated after a little vacation (when you read this I’ll be enjoying some sun in Mexicooo! I wish I could take you all along……)
I picked up a simple, kraft mini album from Love is in the Details this week and got to work decorating the cover. And this time I used LOTS of colour!
The paper and chipboard is from My Mind’s Eye, “Palm Beach,” and the stickers from Amy Tangerine. I am not the happiest with my camera lately, but I hope I can present better photos to you in the near future, and also take more product photos! Both of these lines have so much fun colour and detail.
For the binding part of the album (the thin side part, don’t know what it’s called, oops!), I used chipboard pieces from the Palm Beach line. I’d seen the line in the store for a while and didn’t quite connect with it, but once I started working with the products, I had a lot of fun! Sometimes you just have to take a product out of it’s packaging to truly realize how amazing it is 🙂 (I honestly wish I had grabbed all the other products from the line as well!)
Lastly, perhaps most importantly 😉 is the little orange fox. I know it’s kinda random, but somehow it tied everything together and created a focal point. This adorable die cut is from Pink Paislee.
Thanks for taking a minute to visit! I hope you have a great week!
