Brown Paper Packages….Day 2….

Hi, hello!  We’re back again today with more holiday gift bags inspiration.

Next in the series is this cute little bag, perfectly sized to gift a cd or dvd or even just a super nice envelope for a card!  I stenciled this one as well, like I did for yesterday’s bag, (you can check it out here) but I didn’t own any nice sized stencils so I made this one with my Silhouette Cameo.  I cut the “stencil” from basic cardstock because I knew I’d only be using it once and that cardstock would easily hold up for minimal uses.  If I wanted to use it more than just this project, I might cut if from acetate or a stencil plastic sheet.  Then, I ink daubed it and silver heat embossed, before the addition of die cut branches and boughs, and a white glitter leaf.

I stamped a sentiment on a metal rimmed tag, tied on some ribbon and twine and added a miniature clothespin to make it good and secure! (Ha.  The clothespin is purely decorative.  Hugely supported with some strong adhesive on the back of the tag).

Thanks for stopping back today; come again tomorrow for more cute ideas like this one!
