Hi everyone!
This weekend we celebrated my husband’s 25th birthday. I planned several surprises, of which all of them worked out well…this means a lot when your someone like me, finding it difficult to keep exciting ideas or news inside! (Disclaimer: I forgot to take photos during the day, so the photo quality is not great…will do better next time!)
His birthday was on Thursday, and so I invited around 20 friends to come over on Saturday to celebrate. I made an air tractor cake (my first time working with fondant!) and decorated our living/kitchen area. I had also invited good friends of ours whom we hadn’t seen in a while. Needless to say the surprise turned out well 🙂
For the triangles on the wall, in the first photo, I used repositional tape (from Love is in the Details) to adhere them to the wall. I love having something securely attached to the wall that won’t take off any paint.
I used both black cardstock and silver metallic paper from the Liitd store, and they held up really well. Here’s a photo of the adhesive I used:
What are your favourite ways to decorate for parties? I’d love to hear!
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you have a great week!
