Hi friends, I’m popping in today with a quick post to show you another of the card sets that are available in the store for you now. They are all stamped and waiting for you to color them and make them into cards, similar to what I’m showing you here today.
I used Copic markers to colors these designs. Copics are alcohol based markers similar to Sharpies, but where Sharpies have 24 different colors, Copics have 355 different colors! I bet you didn’t even know there WERE 355 different colors!
Lori will be bringing in another line of alcohol-based markers that are very similar to Copics, called Spectrum Noir, and they provide the same beautiful blend-ability at a much friendlier price point. And don’t forget, you can accomplish the very same kind of shading with colored pencils. Your kids will give you permission to use theirs without a second thought. Until they see what you can do with them. Then they’ll want their pencils back to try some of this magical coloring too!
The stamped designs of these cards is such that you can simply color them up, and adhere them to a card front, or you can crop them and make a more elaborate card with mats, patterned papers and embellishments. I left mine quite simple here because it’s the style I love best. Just some coordinating Nuvo drop dots and I’m good.
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
