Little homes with happy thoughts. Pretty witty today eh? That title and little ditty came to me while I was driving this morning. Norine mentioned once before that the title of our blog posts is the hardest part and I can’t agree more … most times it is the hardest part.
In my next couple of posts, I am going to be highlighting die-cuts and ephemera. There is so many different things inside the packages and the different pieces are absolutely perfect for layering. They can be used for cards and layouts and I think they look pretty cute on these mini wooden houses.
Wouldn’t one of these make a cute little gift for someone?
So I had to have fun with some goodies we have in the store and make a little happy scene.
These two look cute together, I think.
These little Maya Road deer have been in the store since before Christmas, and I have never actually taken one out of the package. Aren’t they the cutest ever?
I can’t decide whether I like the brown or white deer better, both are adorable. For my last happy scene, I just had to try the little Maya Road mini wood slices.
This house is perfect and needs no extra accessories.
These were so fun to make, and I have tons more die-cuts to use. If you haven’t bought a package before, I think you would truly enjoy using them. If you have some and haven’t really used them, open up and a few packages and put them together. You will love how you can mix and match all the different pieces. I have opened three different packages and mixed and matched things to make these houses. I have TONS left and will show you a few more things I made with them on my next blog post.
