I’m going to be a GRANDMA!!
Everyone who is already a grandparent is telling me what a FANTASTIC thing it is to be a one, and I’m sorry but I just WANT TO TALK IN ALL CAPS!! Not mad. Just EXCITED!! So I had to make a layout about it! The first of many grand baby layouts to come! And in fact. I even used the Baby themed paper from the Prima – Heaven Sent Collection pad. Anyone who is Lori’s and my age, will recognize the imagery of the vintage lambs and bunny designs. I hear there is more of this line coming soon and I plan to snap it up for future use!
I used my trusty Sizzix/Tim Holtz Alteration dies for the title letters and cut them from both the graph paper and the background paper to overlap so they didn’t get lost in the background.
The epoxy covered star and “baby” hair pin embellishments are Little You from Crate Paper. So cute.
And a few weeks back, we were discussing a new product here in the forum and I decided I needed to give it a try. It’s the Prima adhesive rub-ons meant for foil, glitter and embossing powder. The rose gold colored shine on the bottom corner is that. And let me tell you, it works!! I haven’t tried it yet with glitter or embossing powder, but I intend to, and will report back. But if all I ever used it for was the foil, I’d be satisfied. And you can use this to foil up your projects without even owning a laminator. It’s the bees knees lemme tell you! If you’d like to give it a try, let Lori know and she’ll get some ordered in for us.
If you can believe it….I only just now realized that the text paper is upside down for the project. My original layout design was flipped vertically and when I changed my mind and turned it, I stopped noticing the text. Oh well, it’s not like it actually said anything anyway. LOL!!
Thanks for stopping by today! I promise not to say anything more about a baby coming!
