Hello everyone! Are you looking for my blog post today?
Well the blog post isn’t up at it’s usual 7amCST nor is it going to really be about anything too creative … but it’s what has to be done when I am not quite ready to show you my finished product.
I can, however, say that I had a great week last week as my son, Justin, and his girlfriend, Katherine were here for a few days. We had an amazing time, and the best part was the visiting and laughing, we laughed so hard so many times, it t’was awesome! Here we are at the wedding we all attended. My brother Jim, his wife Goldie, and their daughter, Larissa, myself, Paul, Chantel, Katherine, and Justin.
And just so you know that creativity was on my mind, this is the start of what I didn’t get finished. I love how this is going, so can’t wait to finish and show you … soon!
The Love is in the Details store is full of vintage and unique display items which I have collected over the years. Some have been found searching through antique stores, thrift stores, at garage sales, but one shopping place that I thoroughly enjoy right from my phone is Varage Sale. I have “scored” some pretty good finds and continue to find some great treasures. I just had to share my latest purchases.
Varage Sale Score #1 – This brand new set of mini suitcases (6×8, 7×10, 8×12), aren’t they awesome! I am not sure if I will alter them, or just leave them as they are. For now, they are sitting in my home office to admire.
Varage Sale Score #2 & #3 – There is nothing to say but … YOWSA! Aren’t they fantastic?!!
And aren’t the insides just spectacular? Ahhh …. visions of beauty!!!
Sometimes when I am off to pick up a Varage Sale find, Zero comes along for the ride. And once in awhile he gets one of his most favorite treats … McDonald’s french fries. Seriously, yes! He loves them and he gets so excited when we are paying at Window #1, as he knows what’s coming at Window #2. He can hardly contain himself once we have them.
And, now I will leave you with a recipe I am dying to try … maybe some of you have made it. Would love to hear your review if you have.
