Not very often will you see me working with bright colors, especially super bright like these. Because I often ask my students and customers to step out of their box and try something new, I thought it was time I did that myself.
Choosing Dylusions paints, Ranger opaque texture paste, a Dream Girl stencil, and a Ronds Quadrilles stencil, I decided to make a funky canvas.
I love to “muck” as I call it, and blending the paints together using a mist of water and my finger was a lot of fun. I especially like how the blue and green blended resulting in such a cool color.
The stencils are amazing, and just the right blend of texture paste and paint gives such a crisp result … the black turned out perfectly. For the purple I mixed red and blue paint with the texture paste … but I should have added more texture paste, as the result is not near as crisp as the black.
And although such bright colors aren’t my usual thing, I love how this turned out … it’s cool and funky!

Very cool! It’s probably just the Eiffel Tower but this speaks to me of Chantel.
