I haven’t made a reverse canvas in at least ten years, and I have no idea why, I love how they turn out. When I sat down and started creating this one, I wasn’t sure what direction I was going … but as soon as I pulled out this photo of my parent’s wedding, my hands couldn’t work as fast as my head was telling them too.
Layers of gorgeous lace, vintage buttons, burlap ribbon, handmade crocheted flowers, pearls, and more … I absolutely loved adding each and every piece to this canvas.
It will have a special place in our home, but it also would make a beautiful gift.
Decorated wooden Christmas houses — double sided — no matter where you put them, they will look great.
I don’t think I could ever get tired of making these, I just love adding all the little details.
Another one of my favorite things to make are these Christmas gift card pockets, complete with greeting cards. Each bag is sewn on the sides to keep everything safely tucked inside.
I will be teaching these two classes at the Scrap Chicks Gone Wild 2016 Crop in Winnpeg in November. I was so excited that our store was invited to this event, it’s going to be so awesome! Classes will be open to everyone – including the public – right from the start. So regardless if you are able to attend the main event crop, you can sign up for classes and shop – no extra charge. Maybe I will see you there!
