It’s hard to believe that the school year is almost over … and it’s the time of year that students, parents and teachers will be doing the final planning for graduation. I was having a chat in the store this past week with a customer who was searching for paper for her daughter’s graduation photos. She was quite upset that she was so far behind, as her daughter was now married and expecting her first child. I told her not to worry about it, that it didn’t matter if she wasn’t caught up, she could enjoy the memories as she scrapbooked them. Then I told her how far behind I am … and I think I might have made her feel a little bit better. lol
So, with those thoughts in mind, I decided to do a layout from Chantel’s grad. I also wanted to try some of the new Prima products that have come in to the store over the last little while.
This chipboard word from Bo Bunny worked perfectly for the title of this layout. I didn’t do anything to it, I love the look of the naked chipboard.
The new Prima brads are so fantastic, and they were just what was needed to finish off this layout. I do hope you will treat yourself to a package of them … they definitely are divine!
I used Prima Tales of You and Me paper from the 8×8 paper pad, and I inked it with Tim Holtz distress ink worn lipstick.
It was fun to scrapbook these pictures, try some new papers and embellies, and reflect back on Chantel’s grad. I hope that over the summer you have time to dig back in some photos and scrapbook some memories from years gone by.
Happy Mother’s Day!
