Good morning, Jennifer here. I thought I would go for throw back layout. I picked paper that has been in my stash for a bit. I forgot how much I loved the Queen Bee line. I am happy that there is still some paper in the store…. I may just have to grab it. I also used some throw back Basic Grey paper. I really like some of their old paper lines. They are able to be used with other paper lines and other paper companies very well. (it’s nice to get that use out of your papers) I added various stamped images around the Queen Bee paper. It was nice to use up some various embellishments I have gathered along the way. I love those Maya Road wooden number circles. The manilla tag was painted with pumice stone distress paint. When the tag was dry I used the same paint to emboss with a stencil. A very cool technique for a monochromatic subtle look.
I love the little embellishment cluster. The rosette is the focal point of the cluster. It was created using the Tim Holtz paper rosette die. I highly recommend this die. I use mine all the time for all different situations. I used kraft card stock and distressed the edges with some gathered twigs distress ink once the rosette was put together.
It was fun to go back and find some paper that has been neglected for awhile. I can tell you I fell in love with it all over again.
