… it will be Christmas. Oh my goodness!! Can you believe it? I know I can’t. Where has this year gone? I thought I would get a jump on the festive scrapping season and start to scrap the old photos from Christmases gone by before I get too busy. I love this photo. It isn’t perfect at first glance but to me it certainly is. It shows everyone in my family (at that time) and their true personalities. Even our dog Peyton is true to life in this photo and decked out in his Christmas best. I love glitter and I certainly glittered up the flower cluster in the corner. I used mercury glass stickles again on just about everything. I also used red stickles on the berries. I think the glitter was perfect!! Layers add to this layout. Coordinating layers are easy to achieve with double sided papers. Simply cut a layer and the remaining paper can be flipped over and used as another layer with no guess work involved. These layers were distressed to go along with the shabby chic distress papers that I used.
I encourage you to look at the selection of Christmas supplies in the store and start stocking up now.
