Hello everyone, how the heck are you? It seems that I missed a blog post … and I apologize for that. I must say that it’s been tough to find time to get down to my happy space, we have had so much going on ….. but, that’s life, right? I am busy working on card kits … but while I am waiting for a couple of things, I took a break to just sit down and scrap … because we are supposed to use the stuff we purchase, correct?!?
There has been lots of gals coming in the store and asking me what they are supposed to do with these? I have been itching to try one, so it was a good opportunity to get some scrappy time in, and use a product that was in question. Paul and I took our first “selfie” a couple of weeks ago, and I thought it would be good to scrap it, as neither one of us like having our picture taken.
I paired it up with some Fancy Pants Flutter, some of these awesome We R extra large enamel dots, Kaisercraft Oh So Lovely, a Jillibean Soup vellum star, and even tried one of the swirls Paul cut me on the Silhouette.
Father’s Day is coming up … and it was time to get a card made for Paul’s Dad. I love the Authentique Durable and this card came together quite nicely. And … I love love how the Ruby Rock-it enamel dots go with this Durable line.
I have to say … getting down to the scrappy area, it’s relaxing, it’s good stress relief, and it’s just plain fun ….. I just have to make the time to get there more often. When was the last time you scrapped?
