Hi everybody!! I am so excited to be on the blog today, and I’ll just say it won’t be the last you see of me on here for a tiny bit, anyways… I wanted to help Lori out with some posts, I know she is super busy and with Christmas coming up she’s just going to get busier! She kind of kissed my feet, actually….
So if you recall, I prefer to buy my cards. However, I have been trying my best to make a few more for special occasions. And Christmas is a pretty special occasion! I got in some of the amazing new Teresa Collins’ Santa’s List line, and since I don’t do a whole lot of Christmas themed layouts, figured I would put it to use on some cards to give to the kids teachers. I loved this line, the red glitter, and the chevron paper especially!!
I also was decorating with the minions today, and decided I don’t have nearly enough decorations for around the house. The kids want things in their rooms too, so I whipped up something super easy for Kenna to put up in her room. I used an old cork board, covered the front with paper and ribbon, and added a cut out banner, sticker alphas, stickles, and a few die cuts and punches!! This is an easy enough project that the kids could even help, or make one all on their own!
I hope everyone is getting a good start on their Christmas gifts, baking, decorating, etc. so that when the time comes you can just put your feet up and relax with your family to enjoy the season!! Thanks for stopping by, and I’m looking forward to the next blog post!!
