Can you believe it’s October 1st? I was going through my loose photos the other day and I realized I hadn’t scrapped many of my Christmas photos from last year….. OK, I hadn’t scrapped ANY of them besides one or two. I thought I better get a jump on that so that I am ready for this year (who are we kidding? I probably will do the same thing this year too!) I found a photo that wasn’t one of the best photos, but to me it represents my brother and his family at Christmas and I decided to get scrapping. I have a confession….. if I don’t have enough paper when I am scrapping I usually cut out what is under the layers and use it
I am absolutely loving the Lasered Edge chipboard. I took a flourish and added gesso and some distress glitter and some Lindy’s stamp gang sprays to this one. It matched the papers I used perfectly!
I finished it off with another piece of chipboard that was painted with Lindy’s Stamp Gang sprays. I had to use multiple layers, but it covered the chipboard very nicely. Who knew you could use the Lindy’s as paint?? I see the Family title I used is sold out. If you are interested in it or any other pieces of chipboard that you don’t see, just ask Lori and she will see what she can do for you……. how’s that for service??
This is the final layout. I am happy that I have started scrapping last year’s Christmas photos (even the not so great photos)…. before you know it Christmas will be here again.
I forgot to mention that I cut the chipboard flourish in 1/2 and used both ends on the LO. That way I was able to stretch the flourishes just a little be further
Really like this, very Christmasy! and I haven’t done any from last Christmas 🙁
Lovely LO Jennifer! All the distressing and layering, it’s perfect!
